About Us

The UA Twirling Team performs with the "Pride of Arizona" Marching Band at every home football game and bowl games. The team performs as one unit and are featured during both the pregame and halftime shows.

At the University of Arizona basketball games, twirlers perform individually and as a team. They perform center court during timeouts, as well as performing at halftime. The UA's basketball program is one of the best in the nation and every home game is sold out. This allows the UA twirlers to shine in front of thousands of people. It is truly a fun and exciting experience. In the Spring, the twirlers are given the opportunity to travel with the pep band and cheerleaders to some of the basketball tournaments throughout the season. These include the Pac-12 tournament and the NCAA championships.

The twirlers are also involved in the Tucson Rodeo Parade, and other events in Tucson. Many of the twirlers have also taken jobs as twirling coaches for the twirlers at the high schools in Tucson.

The University of Arizona has one of the best and most unique twirling teams in the nation, with a long tradition of excellence rooted deep in the heart of the Arizona Athletic Bands heritage. The team practices hard and all team members expect excellence for themselves and their teammates. The University of Arizona Twirling Team is a group of disciplined, hard-working, and intelligent individuals. For more information, please feel free to contact us.
